For the music the filmmakers wanted a sound that enhanced the humour and dynamics of the film without being corney or predictable. Composer Mario Millo approached the score with a combination of orchestral, jazz, blues and guitar-based rhythms. "With such a fast paced film we didn't want the music to fight against the pictures. Space within the score, humour and diversity were essential. Mario was perfect for this picture and provided the right balance with an exquisite score" said producer Vicki Watson.
