"The music was an integral part of the series, which is set in the presesnt but includes flashbacks to the Changi camp. Some of the world war 2 classics act as transitions between the two eras, so the soundtrack is more than just a background", Mario Millo said.

According to John Doyle, when he conceived Changi he wanted music that ripped open the chest and grabbed the heart. That's exactly what Mario Millo has done on this extraordinary soundtrack album, which not only reflects the Changi series, but is a powerful emotional experience in its own right.
